4th of July Fireworks Celebration

Let's meet up for a fireworks show on the 4th of July. We will meet at San Gabriel Park in Georgetown at 7pm. The fireworks begin at dusk 9-9:30pm. Bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on & plenty of cold drinks.

Where will we meet?

Look for us somewhere near the Gazebo or petting zoo (we'll post an exact location when we arrive).

What if I still can't find you?

If you can't find us, Justin's cell is[masked]-4995.

Details about the event event in general from the official website:

http://www.georgetownsertoma.org/4thofjuly.htm

Come celebrate SERTOMA's 30th Annual 4th of July in San Gabriel Park from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., sponsored by the Georgetown Sertoma Club. Entertainment will be provided for the entire family throughout the day. The event finishes with a “Spectacular Fireworks Finale” at dusk.

The festivities will begin at 11:00 a.m. with over 60 Arts and Craft booths, 20 Food vendors. Kiddie rides, Bounce Houses and games along with a Petting Zoo are provided for the children. Musical entertainment, featuring some of the best local and central Texas talent, will begin at the Gazebo at 12 noon and will continue all day. A "Hometown Parade", sponsored by the Leadership Georgetown Alumni begins at 11:00 a.m. at the low water crossing, ending at the Gazebo.

The 4th of July Celebration is free to all who come to beautiful San Gabriel Park on the San Gabriel River in the heart of Georgetown. It normally attracts 4000 to 5000 people to the park throughout the day. Admission is free to the park. Around 9:30 p.m. people will populate all the parking lots and high ground to view the "Fabulous Fireworks Finale" provided by GWPyro. Approximately 50,000 people view the display from the various viewing venues.

I'm in a green shirt and bowling hat - white chair slung on back. Going to the zoo for 15m then parking near the river for the show behind the gazebo with music.

We've arrived. I'm in the bright blue polo shirt. We're lingering by the petting zoo. We're by the pig that's sniffing the goat (and near the zoo entrance.)

I'm still planning on being there right about 7, along with Robbie and a few others coming with me. I'll post our location once we're there, but we'll probably meet by the petting zoo (gives us something to do while we wait) for 15 minutes or so, then wander through the vendor area. If you can't find us, my number is[masked]-4995.

    See you all soon!
