Taste the wines of Morocco

Austin Wine Tasters and Cork & Co. have joined together to present a series of tastings/classes for our members. Each tasting will include two pours of at least 3 different wines specific to the region, and snack trays of cheese, olives & more for $25. Our first journey is into North Africa and the amazing wines of Morocco. Join us at Cork & Co on Tuesday, October 9, for the first in a series of wine classes that will not only give you a chance to taste hard to find wines, but will also increase your wine knowledge along the way.
Our first class presents a rare opportunity to taste a cross section of Moroccan wines. French, Mediterranean, and African influences all blend together to create a beautiful cross section of wines that any true wine lover must experience.

Email me at [masked] to request a copy of the class outline and tasting menu.

There should be enough extra wine for a couple walk ins. Most of the unusual wines are ordered specifically for the event, so ticket sales will determine how many bottles to special order. Contact me before the class and I will hold a spot and you can pay as a walk in. Send me an e-mail [masked] and I will send you the class outline and tasting menu. Thanks

I know I'm just not reading that right, but may I ask, just to be clear... In all, how many different wines do you think we will be tasting?

I am Aaron (aka Penguin) the AWT member and level 2 Sommelier who designed the tastings and will be conducting the classes. We will be discussing the history and geopolitics as well as tasting the wines. Making wine in a Muslim country is just one of many challenges we will be discussing. Hope to see you there!
