We have been calling this meeting the "South" meeting for some time, but, the truth is, it's really central, so I have decided to just be honest about that.
We are going to try a new location: Thunderbird Coffee on Manor Rd. Thunderbird has limited parking, but there is more parking on the street.
Meetings last 2.5 to 3 hours. We'll start the meeting off by reading works (silently) from those that have brought something to share then we'll take turns discussing them. If you want to bring a piece to share please bring at least 4-5 copies and keep it under 2,000 words. From there if time allows we will branch into a discussion of topics related to writing.
Please add line numbers to your piece. This will speed up our commenting process, by allowing reviewers to link their comments to a specific line rapidly and efficiently. To add line numbers in Microsoft Word, go to Page Layout, click on Line Numbers and then check Continuous.
Suggested donation. Meetup charges organizers a fee to run the group. So, the suggested donation of $2.00 is to help me cover the meetup fees. Anything you can donate helps, but we won't kick you out if you can't spare a couple of dollars.
