Much loved Australian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd is making his return to the UK, with a show at London’s Koko on 24 June 2013.
What this man can’t do with a didgeridoo is not worth knowing about. Combine these skills with his musical talents on an assortment of drums, banjos, harmonicas, bells and a guitar, and a Xavier Rudd show is an exercise in amazement.
As well as a talented musician, Xavier Rudd is also a world class surfer, animal rights activist and nature conservationist, and his recently released critically acclaimed seventh album Spirit Bird has echoes of the spiritual with songs such as ‘Follow the Sun’, ‘Culture Bleeding’ and ‘3 Roads’.
Xavier is at his most creative on Spirit Bird – once again painting breathtaking pictures with vivid, unmistakable tones, as hypnotic ceremonial rhythms ease into tender folk songs.
Tickets are on sale now to Xavier Rudd at London’s Koko on Monday 24 June 2013 from Livenation or Ticketmaster - http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/Xavier-Rudd-tickets/artist/882091
