Authentic Indian Cooking classes savors the fineness of Indian Cuisine. Indian food is not just curry. The variety of Indian food is astounding. India has many cultures from different regions of India, quilted together to make multicultural India. Just like diversity brings strength to Australia - the diverse peoples and their diverse culture and foods have brought richness and depth to the Indian experience.

Our classes will be organised as soon as possible. We would also hoping to have pot luck lunch bimonthly, where we all bring a dish to experiment what we have learned in our classes. Sushma Gupta is the organiser.

Armed with the basic ingredients like Basmati rice, lentils, pickles, curry pastes, clarified butter (ghee), vegetable oils and lentil crackers (Pappadums), spices like cumin and mustard seeds, coriander, cayenne, turmeric, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and whole red chills) Indian Cooking can now be done in your own home and for your entertaining pleasure. Home cooking is generally healthier and has more variety than take away Indian meals.
