This group is a social group for high functioning teens between the ages of 13-21 with developmental disabilities who enjoy recreational outings in the community, like the movies and could benefit from social events in which they have an opportunity to establish a bonding experience (friendship) around similar interests with other teens in their age group.

Teens can plan to meetup at different venues around the city like the movies, restaurants, sporting events etc., ie Dave and Busters, ESPN Zone, WWE Events, Laser Tag, and Amusement Parks and then later discuss (maybe on-line) what they liked or disliked about the event they just attended.

Parents are welcome to attend all events with their teens or if appropiate supervision is available (namely parental volunteers) can leave their teens and pickup them up at the end of an event.

All meetups are purely social events. There will be no type of therapy involved as I am not a psychologist but simply a parent of a lonely teen who could benefit from some fun with friends.
