The Not-So-Typical Autism Support Group focuses on the wellbeing of the caregivers of autistic children. We are based on the principle that in order to provide the best for your child, you must provide the best for yourself.
Provided by Hope4Autism in partnership with Wild Heart Coaching, the Not-So-Typical Support group focuses on helping parents of autistic children open up new possibilities and choices in their lives.
Join us on Tuesday, January 8th for an evening with Sharon Gutterman, Ph.D, an expert in mindfulness and mindfulness-based stress reduction.
During this meeting you will learn to:

- Calm your nervous system and cultivate inner peace

Sharon Gutterman, Ph.D., founder of Mindful Wow, is a parent and a grandparent who brings real-life experience to her teaching. She also has a sister with special needs.
Dr. Gutterman trained in an intensive Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program taught by Drs. Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli. She completed the practicum at the Center for Mindfulness/ University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
Acclaimed presenter, Sharon leads workshops and retreats locally and abroad. Her background includes teaching stress management to physicians at Yale and the University of Connecticut, to parents and teachers.
