I <3 Testing!
I like being able to say without a doubt that a software feature doesn't work, works, or could be improved if a change were made.
I get a thrill when I'm able to go beyond Black Box testing and look beneath the surface, using cool tools, to discover root cause for a defect.
When I'm able to automate tests, which removes the need for some manual testing, and catches regression defects efficiently, I feel GREAT!
I think that it would be worthwhile for automation engineers, software development engineers in test, and senior qa engineers to get together once in a while to discuss:
* Testing Techniques
* Software QA Tools
* Continuous Integration
* Automated Testing
* Unit testing, Mocks, and Fixtures
* Test Case Management
* Testing Experiences, what worked, what didn't work.
