F1 Boston used to be a racquet club and now offers competitive racing. All-day tag team racing as well as single races are available.
You get to drive carts with a maximum speed of 30 mph, wear full professional racing gear, and participate in a multiple-lap race, complete with 10 second penalties for rule violations.
The technology they have is impressive, which includes the ability to remote-control carts when someone on the track is egregiously abusing the rules.
It is located in Braintree on the South Shore and not convenient to public transportation. Please do not let this affect your decision to attend. We, as a group, will do whatever we can to offer a complete ride to & from, or from the nearest MBTA stop, which is probably Braintree on the Red Line.
Please visit www.f1boston.com for more information about the facility.
