Ghosts, Lanterns, and Buffet, OH MY! (Joint event: 143 "Yes" RSVP's!)

This is an appetizer social, historical ghost tour, and after-party buffet all rolled into one!

If you've ever wanted to learn more about the extensive ghost history in Boston, there’s no better way than to take a guided tour around the streets of Boston. The tour begins and ends in Faneuil Hall, goes along the freedom trail, the site of the Boston Massacre, and the oldest cemetery in the country.

Colonial Lantern Tours of Plymouth, Boston, and Middleboro will be sponsoring this incredible joint event.

We will meet at 6 pm at Dick's Last Resort at Faneuil Hall Marketplace for free appetizers and socializing.

At 7 pm, led by experienced historians, we will be given candlelit lanterns, and walk the streets of Boston for about an hour.

At 8 pm, the tour will end at Stadium where we can make a wish as we blow out our candles and head downstairs for a private buffet. Alcohol and other food items will be available at your own expense.

At 9 pm, event ends. Guests at Stadium are welcome to stay as long as they like without an additional cover charge (normally $10).

FAQ'S:

Who do I contact for questions not on this list?

The event organizer is Matthew Wininger. He will be running this in conjunction with his Meetup groups. He can be reached by email at [masked] or by phone/text at [masked]. (Problems with the ticketing website should first be directed to Zerve)

Is advance purchase required?

No; however, reception has been high and booking in advance will ensure your space AND save you $5 off the cost of admission. Tickets can be purchased with a Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

What time should I arrive?

The appetizer social begins at 6 pm. The tour does not start until 7 pm. Please try to get here as close to 6 pm as you can!

Are food and drinks included in the cost of the ticket?

The appetizers at the starting location and buffet at the ending location are included in the ticket. Drinks are available for purchase at the bar using cash or credit card.

Who else will be there?

In addition to staff and event organizers, you'll be joined by fun people of all ages who are ridiculously sexy and worth millions of dollars.

How many people will be on the tour?

There will be multiple tour guides on staff in order to keep group sizes manageable. A total headcount is unpredictable; however, attendance will be significant and we are able to accommodate up to 200 people.

Can we stay at the Stadium Bar all night with no cover?

Yes. Our area will be open to the general public at 9 pm; however, you are welcome to hang out as late as you like with no additional cover charge (normally $10).

How much walking is involved?

The tour will cover less than 1 mile.

Are there restrooms available along the way?

Yes, restrooms will be available at the meeting location, a few restaurants along the way, and ending location.

Should we tip our tour guide?

Gratuity is always appreciated for a job well done.

I don't plan on eating or can't attend the entire event, can I get a discount?

We are sorry. No discount of this nature is offered.
