  • January 2, 2014 · 6:30 PM

Want to learn to code? Want company?

The Course: Udacity's free, online Introduction to Computer Science course taught by award winning MIT graduate and University of Virginia professor David Evans.

The Meetup: Let's Learn to Code's (unofficial) companion study group is a place for independent learners to find support as they work their way through the course. No previous programming experience required!

Who Should Attend: Anyone who wants to learn to code. More experienced programmers willing to share their knowledge are encouraged to drop in as well. Please bring your laptop.

What to Expect: We'll spend the first hour answering any and all Python-related questions. So feel free to jump in where you are! The last hour will be devoted to those linearly working their way through the Udacity course. We'll be taking questions from Units 2 and 3.

This group meets Thursday evenings 6:30pm-8:30pm at Axis901, 901 Main Street in Manchester. For more information, please contact Rosaleen Torrey at [masked]. Organizers: Rosaleen Torrey, TJ DeBeatham, and Jeremy Toce.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
