Flexible Visual Design Assets

New Axure 7.0 Features for Creating Flexible Visual Design Assets in Prototypes

by Svetlin Denkov

Have you ever struggled customizing icon widgets to match your prototype visual themes? Do you convert custom font labels to images? Are you constantly moving between Photoshop and Axure to modify visual assets? Forget all this!!!

Axure 7 offers several new features that can help alleviate these Visual Design pains. Welcome Web Fonts and Fonts Mapping! This presentation will walk through tutorials explaining how these features work and will introduce using FontAwesome as customizable vector-based icons. If time permits, additional resources such as online Web Font repositories (e.g., Google Fonts), Web Font creation, and others will also be discussed.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Hi Folks! As I pointed out FontAwesome comes in variety of versions. This just in: someone on the forums released a library for FontAwesome 4.1: I have not yet tested it out but figured I'd share this :)

Start here: then move to here then to here and if that's not enough go to Amazon or Packt and type "Axure". Plenty of books out there!

I can't make it due to a work function. I use web fonts in Axure all the time. If you do know how that works, you should attend this.

What are the odds someone can set up a bridge to dial in? Is this allowed?

I intended to go to this - and this could be hugely beneficial - but I can't abandon the Blackhawks tomorrow night!

At this time no plans to web share. If we can work something out tomorrow, we'll post it here.
