Tracy CunninghamHope to see you all!
Don’t miss our special last Sangha of the year.

It has been a joy creating, organizing, and holding Vedika’s Sunday Ayurveda Sangha month after month. I feel it is so important in these times to open the doors of our beloved school to our wider community so they may also enjoy and sip the nectar of Ayurveda. The friends we’ve made, the healings that have transpired, and the inspirations that have been strengthened—witnessing all of this has been such a blessing to us all!

The next sangha will take place on January 26, 2014

The Sangha is both practical and sublime, incorporating practical health promoting and disease preventing measures from Ayurveda along with applied knowledge from the allied traditions of Yoga and Vedanta to help transform the body, mind and soul.

You will leave empowered with health-promoting knowledge and personal insights you can readily apply, and easy seasonal recipes using Ayurveda's super foods and digestive spices.

2 pm to 5 pm – Teachings, Q & A, plus Seasonal Ayurvedic Cooking Demo
5 pm to 6 pm – Vegetarian Potluck*

* No meat, fish or eggs. Dairy okay.

A vegetarian potluck dish (5 pm to 6 pm) and/or flowers to add beauty to the space :)
Friends or family

* Manageable children are okay, but must be under adult supervision at all times

Cost: By-donation, suggested donation is $10. All proceeds go to expanding our future sanghas, charitable events, and/or charitable organizations chosen by Vedika Global.

A note about RSVPs: If you RSVP "yes" and your plans later change, please adjust your RSVP on the site. This helps us plan how much food to prepare for the cooking demos (everybody gets tasty samples!) Thank you.

This was the quintessential end to a year of discovering and selecting which Ayurveda school I will attend - Vedika is The One! Acharya Shunyagi is a committed, dedicated teacher who is bequeathing the gift of Ayurveda in its original spiritual form from her forefathers to America. We are blessed to have her in the Bay Area. To learn from her heritage is a dream-come true. Two full days from 8am to 6pm have left me salivating for the first day of school next year. Check out the glow on Acharya Shunyagi and her students' skin. Got Ghee? Jai ma!

I don't know anything about Ayurvedic cooking yet, but I can bring a non-dairy, meatless dish. Perhaps there will be some new blooms in my garden to bring too.
