We’ll begin by walking the boardwalk to the end and then taking one of the paths that lead into the woods. It’s a 3+ mile walk with a few fairly steep inclines (declines) on a mostly gravel surface. The walk will begin at 1pm. I'll be there at 12:30 to greet attending members.  More info will be sent to those attending at the end of the week. Hope you'll join us.---Lee

Thanks Lee for a beautiful hike. It's been too long since Boardwalk last visited this park. There's a lovely variety in this park between the mini-boardwalk, ocean views, wooded trails and some energizing ups and downs in elevation. Let's do this park again soon!

Total distance boardwalk & woods, a little over 4 miles. Great boardwalk, just needs to be lengthened.

Another excellent walk lead by leader Lee and the weather was magnificent to the point where there were people on the beach in their swim suits catching lots of rays while laying on the sun baked sand. It was my first time ever walking along the parks boardwalk and it was so nice to look at over the calm water while strolling along with the group. The walk through the wooded area was fun and I really enjoyed the ups and downs of the hiking areas. A bunch of perky people on this hike/walk and everyone had a great time spending the day together. Definitely a park to return to in the coming months!

Very enjoyable walk! Park has just about
everything - beach, walking/hiking trails, short elevations, steep decline, etc. Unique landscape !
This was a first for me, will return! Premier Diner was excellent!

Today's walk in Sunken Meadow was wonderful. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day, making it just right for walking on the boardwalk. So good to see people sitting on the beach and children playing in the sand. Feels like summer is just around the corner. And then the trek through the woods - that was great, also. I almost had to give up when I couldn't continue up the steep incline, and turned around. But, I found an easy path back to the group and I was able to continue and enjoy the rest of the walk and the great company of my friends.

Excellent and more than a 5 star rating to this walk and a beautiful day for it. Just perfect day to be by the water and on the boardwalk and into the woods. Great group and a lot of fun conversations and funny ones. I loved it. I had a very good time at the Premier Diner and the food was good and the service was good too. Thank you, Lee, for a wonderful day and a wonderful walk.
