The costumed guides and crafts persons helped make it a great visit. Loved the Mad Hatter.
He took his job seriously. The one room school house originally from Manhassett was unique.

The weather was perfect for a Halloween walk, windy, damp, and a little foreboding.

It was a fun day today and we had a great group. It was nice going through the houses and learning about the history of the people that once lived there and how they lived. We had a great group and I am glad everyone had a good time. It was nice meeting Nancy Turner and Sophie too and I hope they enjoyed themselves as well. Everyone be careful out there with the weather and stay safe. Happy Halloween and don't get scared.

I had a great time at the Old Bethpage Restoration and it was fun going through all the houses and learning about the history of the people who once lived there. It was interesting visiting the church, the school, the hat maker store, the general store, the farm and even where they make spider cookies. The weather was ok and we completed the whole walk. I had a great time with the group and glad everyone had a good time too. It was nice meeting Nancy Turner and I hope she had a good time too. It was nice to see that we had a good turnout with the approaching storm on our way. Good day, good walk, and fun group .
