HOLIDAY WALK

  • December 8, 2012 · 3:00 PM

This year’s holiday walk will again be in the great old town of Port Washington. The walk will take us along Manhasset Bay, then around Mill Pond and Baxter Pond and include a mile long stretch down Main Steet. This walking event will have a limited attendance due to its residential nature. The distance will be about 4 miles on mostly level pavement, some small hills involved. Meeting place will be emailed to those attending. Hope you’ll join us.---Lee

I loved the festivities too and it was very pretty when we came back while it was getting dark and seeing the Christmas tree lit up and the menorah lit up too.

Port Washington is a very nice town. It was a nice walk and we had a small and wonderful group. The weather was damp and cloudy but it was still a good walk. Lunch at the Mediterranean restaurant was good as well and it was a nice small group there as well.

Thank you Nick. We will enjoy all those crazy 8 nights lighting the candles, spinning the dreidle and sniffing the hazelnut coffee. Don't forget the Jewish guilt with our chocolate coins.

The sign up was a little confusing. Before I entered my rsvp of "yes" is said there were 13 spots left. When I clicked on "yes", it said the meetup was filed up before my rsvp was submitted. Is thre some kind of waiting list?

    That filled up quickly.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
