Have you studied Tarot or Qabalah?

I have been interested in Tarot for many many years and have always wanted a deeper understanding and knowledge of their symbolism and meaning. I had read in this fascinating magazine they do not publish anymore (Gnosis Magazine) that Einstein has studied the Tarot and I started to find out what a wonderful tool for creativity and problem solving it was; two of the most influential books on the Tarot I have in my possession are "Tarot As a Way of Life" by Karen Hamaker-Zondag (Weiser Books) and "Meditations on the Tarot A Journey into Christian Hermiticism" by Valetin Tomberg. Interestingly enough, the book was also found in a stack on the desk of Pope John Paul II. Recently as of late 2013, I have acquired a first edition copy of Mouni Sadhu's "The Tarot". I have not studied Qabalah; found it quite exhaustive and abstract although I picked up a book on the Zohar at Barnes and Noble and my interest began to increase.

Are you a member of B.O.T.A.?

I have considered it for for years but was never sure which particular Mystery School would I benefit the most. The Fraternity of the Inner Light seemed interesting to me because all my studies in Occultism have started with the work of Dion Fortune; lately I have been listening to the lectures of Manly P. Hall on Youtube. I was very much astonished by his wisdom.

Introduction

I have an interest in all things esoteric and mystical and am a student in Comparative Religions; having been influenced by the Perennialist school (See World Wisdom Books).
