Join us for this beautiful ritual of healing developed by Rev. Ann Davies incorporating Qabalistic chanting. Services are conducted by ministers or speakers every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. at the Temple in Los Angeles. The public is cordially invited.
B.O.T.A. in Los Angleles has various group activities open to the public.
A Qabalistic healing service is conducted on Sunday mornings. Most months we have a Study Group on the third Saturday, discussing topics from Tarot or Qabalah, followed by an opportunity for a guided Qabalistic Meditation. No preparation beyond interest in the subject matter is needed to participate in the Study Group or other listed activities.
Some months there are special events, such as our seasonal rituals celebrating the Qabalistic symbolism of Christmas and Easter, and the group healing celebration called Vibratory Attunement. Everyone is welcome, and we hope you will join us!
Founded by Dr. Paul Foster Case in the 1920s, Builders of the Adytum is a Mystery School and training order based on the Western Mystery tradition. The Qabalistic path is sometimes described as the "Yoga of the West," as it has much in common with esoteric Eastern spiritual practices.
B.O.T.A. members receive weekly lessons in Tarot, Qabalah, Alchemy and related disciplines. The coursework is challenging and far-reaching.
Group Ritual Work is also available to Los Angeles B.O.T.A. members. Combined with the lesson material, this can be a powerful catalyst to personal development. After completing the requisite initial coursework, members may request to be initiated and to participate in our healing ritual work of Pronaos. Twice a year, near Equinox, new officers are installed in a ritual that is open to the public.
Can't make it to the group activities? B.O.T.A. lessons are designed to be studied on your own, in your spare time. To learn more about membership and the coursework, go to.http://www.bota.org
Builders of the Adytum is a non-profit organization.
