Here is the link to my "We the People" petition to halt foreclosures and evictions. Please support it. It's a White House website, and you have to create an account and login before you can sign petitions, or create your own.

Chris, no, I'm not trying to make this a political organization. This petition is a human rights issue of real consequence to many Americans on all sides of the political debate. I told the group last night that I would post this link. But if it upsets folks. I'll take it down and post a link to my blog where I do most of my writing. If I can't take it down and the consensus is to take it down, I ask that Ricky or Season remove it. I'm not here to start any fights.

Sherri and members: First of all, I never asked nor suggested that anyone's post be deleted. I spent a lifelong career fighting censorship from all sources at all levels, in print, on the airwaves, in the smoke filled backrooms and in costly court battles, and I signed my name to all those battles, public and private, so I'd be the last to want someone's post deleted. Secondly, I asked one question, and for a reason, so that I might learn something. There was no wrong answer to my question. The Constitution gives us all the right to free speech, but that does not include the right to be heard. You cannot force others to listen to your views, or anything you have to say, either by law or by nature. That's why God invented private communication. Thirdly, you answered my question, so thank you for the reply. You have a, let's call it, interesting, definition of human rights. Good luck to you, Sherri, with your book editing gig. I hope you land the job.

I talked to the person who wants her metaphysics ebook ghost written, and I'm 1 of 2 she's considering. She's looking at my blogs now. She's not going to make a decision for at least 4 days, so I've got my fingers crossed.

Tonight, we're going to try meeting some place different. Brew Ha Ha hasn't been as nice to us lately. We've reserved a room at the Goodwood Library. I hope this doesn't cause any confusion. Goodwood may or may not not be permanent... We'll see how it goes tonight.

I think the library was okay. I missed having a table, however. I'm open to trying new locations, whether it's BRCC or another library. Jones Creek and Bluebonnet branches have rooms larger than Brew Ha Ha, and we can set them up with tables. La Madeline's on Jefferson at Old Hammond has a room. I'll try to call them this week and see what the availability is and whether there is a cost associated with use of the room.

I just got my first call back to edit someone's papers into an ebook on metaphysics! I'm sure I'm not the only one she's called, so I'm nervously waiting for my phone to ring.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
