Do you practice art, science, or art/science?

I am a supporter of public informal science education. I volunteer at the explOratorium often and also work as a docent at the California Academy of Sciences. I also edit the SciSchmooze newsletter at www.BayAreaScience.org

Are there any specific organizations, businesses, Meetups, or collaboratives you think we should know about?

Subscribe to the SciSchmooze newsletter. It is the weekly newsletter at www.BayAreaScience.org You can also post presentations and events based in science, reason, and skepticism which will be posted on the calendar and included in the newsletter.

What topics would you like to see addressed/explored by both artists, scientists, or both?

It's not looking good for humans and much of the natural world thanks to us.

Introduction

Helping get the lay public engaged with science and reason, in conjunction with strengthening the separation of church and state, is one of the most important endeavors if our society is to survive.
