What it's all about! Blogging Basics: Content and your readers -- This is one of the foundation classes for developing a magnetic, interesting blog. Publishing the right kind of content does more than keep your readers happy -- it keeps YOU happy and willing to come back and write more. The authors of the best blogs around have all experienced the fatigue of ongoing blogging. In this class, you will learn how to decide your topics, formats and lengths of good blog posts, and how to relate to your readers so that they come back -- and refer your blog to their friends. *Learn blogging formats *Find great topics to write about *Create simple blogs on free sites, or add Wordpress to your own domain *Link your blog to other forms of modern media *Find out about monetization, practices and ethics *Discover how to build a list and create your own web family *Get your own questions answered so you can proceed with confidence This is part of the "Twitter for the Trees" series and is taught in various locations around the Bay area. The class is 2 1/2 hours, runs from 11:00 to 1:30, and is $25.00. (As part of the "Twitter for the Trees" series, 10% of the proceeds is donated to plant trees in deforested areas!) This class is being held in a private home, so space is limited. Sign up today to reserve your spot! Location of the class is sent upon registration. It is held in the Berkeley area. With this small group, we were able to get into the nitty gritty and solve some problems. We worked on linking, the different aspects of linking out and linking blogs together, as well as getting a new blog up and posting for the first time.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
