Fun Community Service Day and Lunch - Restoring an Historic Fence, and Helipad

Community Service Day 8:30-1:00 - This will be a multi organization event with about 25 to 40 people there.

Meet at "San Felipe" group picnic area.

Restoring an Historic Fence, a Helipad, some painting and More

Lunch Included! You can bring kids 13 years and older too!

Join us for a Saturday morning Community Service project where we give back to San Jose City Parks and Recreation. On June 7th, we will be meeting at Joseph Grant Park, (on Mt. Hamilton, in the foothills east of S.J.).

At the park gate say you are with the NOM work group and they will let you in for free.

We will start work at 9 am and lunch is around 1:00.

We have tried to make this a very easy project to say "Yes"

Yes, you can bring friends, 
Yes, you can bring kids 13 years and older, 
Yes, the campground has running water, showers and toilets,
Yes, you can be a crew leader (first come first served) 
Yes, this will be worthwhile 
Yes, we will have food for lunch 
Yes, you can bring your own power tools if you want... 
Yes, you can bring your dog if you keep the dog on a leash 

To Get There From 280/680. 

1). Take the Alum Rock Avenue exit East 
2). Head East on Alum Rock Ave toward foothills 
3). Turn right onto Mt Hamilton Rd (go 8 miles) 
4). Stay left to stay on Mt Hamilton Rd to 18405 Mt Hamilton Rd
