'Surviving Infidelity' is a support group which provides men and women who are dealing with a partner's affair to come together for strength, insight, and mutual support. It is best suited for individuals who are seeking to gain more information, understanding and perspective about the issue of affairs in order to make more informed personal decisions. We Do Understand. We have all been there.
Our goal is to help people reach a point where they no longer need the support we offer. However the process takes time and can't be rushed.
The sensitive nature of the group and the importance we place on making it a safe and supportive environment makes it necessary that we remain an 'active' group; meaning its members need to maintain their active status by attending meetings whenever possible. Maintaining an 'active' membership assures that the group is effective in meeting the needs of its members. If more than 3 months slip by without your attendance we will contact you. Hopefully you have been absent because you no longer need our support and that is a very good thing.
Everyone is expected to participate in some way; no one sits as a "silent observer". Only share what you are comfortable with and start small. With time, personal reflection and a bit of hard work, as well as lots of support you will come through this, often stronger than before.
In order to provide a sense of safety and privacy to those who attend, the meeting times and location are not available to the general public and you are asked to keep that information private. Your profile and photo will only be shared within our group.
