Potluck (for reals this time)

Meet some new queer friends over food and conversation.  We'll have some board games at the ready in case the mood strikes.   Don't worry if you can't manage a dish.  Just bring yourself.  If the weather's nice, we can enjoy the cozy backyard.

*Leave a note about what you might bring.*

Getting here:

By car: Free street parking.  Easy.

By bike: Also easy. You can lock your bike against anything in the backyard or put it in our garage.  Just ask me to open it for you.

By BART/bus: Still pretty easy.  From downtown Oakland take the 1, 1R, 40, or even the 14, though that's less preferred.  From Lake Merritt BART, take the 62 or arrange for me to pick you up, no problem.  You can also just walk from LM BART.  It's about 15 minutes.

This food below sounds amazing. I also have plenty of hot tea choices for this cozy rainy day.

Today, I'm leaning towards meat...so it'll be finalized Friday night when I cook it.

I'm bringing slow cooker pork. (Made with Dr. Pepper and canned chipotle peppers...very much against my usual from scratch cooking.) And if I can figure out a way to carry it, also quinoa pork meatballs (yay, no wheat or eggs!)

I'm just gonna meet up with most of y'all at karaoke - Monday. Got a flu shot and not feeling super fly. If I'm up to it, I'll bring something dessert-y :)
