*Change of host to Yanny*
From website: "Lit Crawl 2013, spread over more than three hours, will host live readings of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and more in bookstores, bars, art galleries, restaurants, stores, cafés, a bowling alley, community spaces…"
Laura was originally looped into this year's event because of a reading of interest during round 2 (7:15-8:15, Virgie Tovar and other fat activists at Beauty Bar), so it seemed like a good opportunity to attend the whole crawl and make it an event! Yanny's gone for the past few years and highly suggests that you plan to attend Round 1&3 OR Round 2 for this highly popular event.
4:30-5:30 - Burgers/Beer at Zeitgeist
5:30 - walk on over to our chosen crawl starting place (we can decide while at zeitgeist).
6-7 - Round 1 --TBD
7:15-8:15 - Round 2 --Yanny plans to skip
8:30-9:30 - Round 3 -- "Fantastic Creatures & Extinction Events!" at Borderlands Cafe
9:30 - ? - See if the mood strikes for more hang out time (food, drinks, dancing, invading the Dolores park play structure for amazing views of the city, etc)
Look out for my phone number as the event gets closer. If you can only come for part of the event, let Yanny know beforehand or text Yanny during the event to find us. Phone will be silent during readings but will be checked before and after readings.
*PLEASE ONLY RSVP IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING OUR EVENT AT LIT CRAWL. IF YOU ARE GOING TO LIT CRAWL ON YOUR OWN OR WITH OTHERS - PLEASE DO NOT RSVP ON THIS PAGE. You're welcome to join us before and after Lit Crawl if you'd like*
More from the website:
"ALL Lit Crawl readings are free and open to the public (although some venues are 21 and over). Please consider donating (yes, even $1 helps) to Litquake to help support our festival for years to come. Donation baskets can be found at each venue, as well as at the Lit Crawl HQ table in Clarion Alley on the night of the Crawl."
