Touch Rugby OPEN DAY!

Touch is an increasingly popular social sport played by men and women all over the world. As a low contact game, touch's emphasis is on speed, ball handling and fitness.
The Basel Touch Club is dedicated to encouraging the sport in a relaxed atmosphere where having fun with friends is paramount. All skill levels, from total newbies to legendary masters, are catered for.

Our games are usually mixed touch games, i.e. men and women play on the same teams. If you are interested, just come down to the field whenever we are playing and join in the fun. No previous experience is necessary. You don't need any special equipment, but most people wear shoes designed for running around on grass.

For those who want to take their game to the next level, the club will be participating in various tournaments around Switzerland and Europe. So there will be opportunities to play the sport in more competitive settings.

Hi, silly question... not sure if I can make it but if so, I'll be coming by car. Is it easy (and free) to park near the pitch?

Hi, just a quick reminder that the open day is still planned. Weather forecast is good: should stay dry during the morning with some sunshine and 20°C. I would say: perfect weather to play touch. Still, bring a rain jacket....you never know these days. After the Touch session we will have some BBQ and food (10CHF per Person)...Convinced? If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me or just post in this forum! Hope to see you all on Saturday. Cheers

Oh dear, don't shout when I drop the ball...

We won't shout. Even experienced players let the ball drop! ;-)
