Quijerema at the Red Poppy Art House (SF)

A merging of classical and jazz with poetic undertones, Quijeremá's music features traditional instruments and vocal poetry to create a unique style that merges jazz, classical and world idioms. Quijeremá is a[masked] California Arts Council grantee, performs worldwide, including special performances for the President of Chile and the Venezuelan government, and was a 2009 IDA nominee for best musical soundtrack for the PBS documentary “Archeology of Memory.”
