June Full Moon Drum Circle

John A. won't be able to attend, so I (Bryan L.) volunteered to be the host.

This will be our second full moon drum circle for the summer of 2013, and it's going to be a "Super Full Moon". We are using Fremont Central Park because PA Baylands closes at 9:00, which is too early to enjoy the full moon coming up at 8:51. Fremont Central Park closes at 10pm which gives us more time.

The park is BIG.... so, to find us, use the address above and LOOK at the Google map. Use the park entrance that is next to the "Aqua Adventure Water Park" and go to the end of that parking lot where the six palm trees are. Park your vehicle, then follow the sidewalk to the left of the palm trees until you reach the water just before you get to the dock. We'll be there along the lake shore unless something unforeseen gets in the way (If so, I'll post to this site with a modified location). There is no seating, so bring your chair, stool, or an old blanket to sit on.

Restrooms are nearby. Dogs on leash are allowed. Handicapped access is good. The moon rise is late in the evening, so dress warmly.

If your plans change at the last minute, please change your RSVP accordingly.

Extra drums and percussion instruments are always available.

a great night as always....thank you Bryan for facilitating; esp coming the distance you do. much appreciation . and the group was fun and enthusiastic....each time is a different dynamic! i do not do the 'good to see you' thingy. however, know that it was really was great to see each one of you; drumming till it was really dark, and just having a good ol' time.....and having a pavillion all to ourselves! that was awesome. see ya'll next circle!

It was an exceptional circle. Great energy and fun having some lessons and times of free play! Sorry you couldn't find us Mary...
The weather held out for us anyway.

Sorry you missed us Mary. Thanks for trying. I know it's frustrating driving to an event and not being able to find it. Did you see the posts about our revised location? There was the post on Meetup plus a hand-drawn sign on the palm tree closest to the sidewalk mentioned in the description of the event. Again, sorry we missed you.

    • Mary

Yes, I'm sorry too. Didn't get any message about a "revised location".

I enjoyed the group and the opportunity to play different types of drums. Too bad that it was overcast and we couldn't see the full moon.

Too cold. No moon. Next time.

may i say: do not let a little 'weather' deter you! if you keep moving towards the destination, it is very rewarding! and one can become a part of something much bigger. 'weather' is nature's 'show'er of blessings.....see you later!

It looks like the rain is going to hold off until later in the night (there's a 20% chance of very light rain before 10pm). It will be dipping onto the low 60's with a 10 MPH wind by the time we wrap up, so bring something warm to wear. See you tonight!
