If you are planning to join us for "Drumming in the Street", you can join us for this event too.

We'll meet in my backyard starting at 4pm, for those of us who don't go to work or who can get off early. If it's warm, the pool will be open, but mostly we'll do what we all like to do - drumming. I have lot's of chairs but if you have a favorite, bring it. Use my driveway for unloading only. Park on Eastwood Circle.

At about 5:30 we'll have a kebob barbecue. I'll supply the barbecues and skewers. You are asked to bring one or two types of meat, vegetable, fruit, or other things that can be skewered and cooked (like steak, boneless chicken, salmon, bacon, mushrooms, pineapple chunks, tomatoes, broccoli, shrimps.... what else? ). Each person will take a skewer (or two) and prepare it with the food items of his/her choice. Add some sauce for flavor and then it will go onto the grill. Also you can bring side items, like chips, salads, or desserts. Please indicate what you are bringing.

At 6:45pm, we'll set up the drum circle in the street for NNO. See separate event.

Handicapped access to my backyard is good. Extra drums and percussion instruments are usually available but not guaranteed.

There were 15 on the list just before 4:00pm. Many had to cancel or just did not show up. The result was that six of us had a good time and had some great food to eat. Thanks to all who came and helped out.

How goes things? I realized that I was double booked but now finished and considering heading toward Santa Clara. Must go to South San Jose first to grab my drum though. Are we still drumming? Shall I come? Hopefully someone will respond...

Ah, ok. So we may have a lot of chicken and Pineapple. :-) I don't have a lot of other protein in the house right now and not sure I have time to get to the store in time. So I may just come for the circle, if that is ok.

I will bring some quinoa with raisins too, and some cherry tomatoes from the garden (and, you can never have too much chicken and pineapple, in my book!)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
