This will be part two of a two part event. (For info on part one, please see separate event listing.)

We'll start off with a potluck lunch from 1:00 - 1:30 for all members. Bring something to share. Barbecue available. Beer, wine, alcohol - OK. I'll supply the plates, table ware, cups, condiments, serving spoons.

After lunch, from 1:30 - 3:00, expert, advanced, or professional drummers with something to teach (or share), and all drummers who want to learn something new, or who want to practice and support the event.... let's get together. If we have enough participants, we can break up into smaller groups. We'll share some tips, techniques, and rhythms, with the exact topics and schedule to be determined during lunch.

After the sharing and practice sessions, a half hour of all drummers together.

Because of the complexity, this event is subject to being modified slightly.

I will bring fruit salad. I thought of it while shopping at the Santa Clara Farmers Market today. I'm looking forward to good company, good sounds, and good food.

Excellent! I'd suggest volume control in closed quarters?

I liked the first session better, just drumming, no instruction. But a friendly group, unassuming.

Great to see how it is done by those who know how. Loud at the end.
