Humanist Speech Masters

Our semimonthly meeting for practice public speaking.
Join us on the second and fourth Monday of every month for our Humanist Speech Masters meeting.

Members of the BC Humanist Association are invited to prepare talks to share with other attendees. Our goal is to get hands-on experience preparing and practicing public speaking in a friendly atmosphere.

Attendees provide feedback to the volunteers who speak, enabling them to build on their strengths and improve on their weaknesses.

All topics are open for discussion. Speeches should be about 10 minutes in length.

Find us in the Review Room (in the back) of The Tipper Restaurant on Kingsway at Victoria Drive starting at 7pm.

Events are free and open to the public, but attendees are encouraged to volunteer to speak at future events. Please also consider purchasing some food or drinks to support the Tipper, who provides the room to us for free.

To volunteer to speak at a future event, let us know at our next meeting or email [masked]. No one will be forced to speak, but the success of this event is dependent on volunteers coming forward.

Jesse let me know if I can do some of my next class on Humanism at Speechmasters. I need 30 minutes and a LED machine to project some slides.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
