BCMC plus optional Dam Mtn - see separate posting

I am going to follow this hike with a trip up Dam Mtn and Thunderbird Ridge - join me for one or both!

Rating: Intermediate
Time: At your own pace. (1-1.5 hrs)
Distance: 3.3 km (one way)
Elevation: 853 meters
Grade: 25.8%

Please note that there is a $10 fee if you wish to ride the skyride down or an annual pass is $99. 

This hike is a great conditioning hike. Short and steep - good for strength and cardio, and a great way to end an inside kind of work day!

 

 

 

 

 

Level of fitness: Please ensure that you are fit enough to join these events. All require a decent level of cardio, stamina and strength.


PLEASE! No guests (have people join if they want to come – its simple!), no kids and no dogs – thanks!

Please bring the following:
Hiking Boots
Poles if you use them
Headlamp and spare batteries (we will be hiking in the dark)
Water-proof/ wind-resistant Jacket
Layered Clothing
Water
Food
First aid supplies
Change of clothing
Your happy self! (leave your grumpy self at home)

      Ok, I guess your list is just a copy & paste of a former meet up? Also the photo description says it's a great way to "end" the work day. I'd love to go but it will be too difficult to be fighting rush hour traffic to start at 9am. (Too bad it's not just a little later.) :(
