BCMC Your Own Pace Evening Hike

We will be hiking in the dimming light under the canopy and the upper 1/3 of the trail will be covered in snow and ice - headlamps with spare batteries and microspikes are mandatory. 

Sharing a drink after the hike at Altitudes Bistro is optional.

BCMC Trail: 

Rating: Intermediate 
Time: 1-1.5 hrs (at your own pace) 
Distance: 3.3 km (one way) 
Elevation: 853 meters

Please make sure that you're fit enough to join this hike.  It's a great conditioning hike, short and steep but it requires a decent level of cardio, stamina and strength. 

Please note that there is a $10 fee to ride the skyride down or an annual pass is $99. 

PLEASE! No guests (have people join if they want to come – its simple!), no kids and no dogs – thanks!

Please bring the following: 

Hiking Boots 
Traction devices (Microspikes)  
Poles if you use them 
Headlamp and spare batteries (we will be hiking in the dark) 
Water-proof/ wind-resistant Jacket 
Layered Clothing 
Water 
Food 
First aid supplies 
Change of clothing 
Your happy self! (leave your grumpy self at home)
