Spring to the Top - Early Shift to BCMC & Social

We'll have a beer (or beverage of your choice) at Altitudes Bistro in the Chalet at the top. (optional of course).

BCMC Trail:

Rating: Intermediate
Time: 1-1.5 hrs (at your own pace)
Distance: 3.3 km (one way)
Elevation: 853 meters
Grade: 25.8%

Please make sure that you're fit enough to join this hike.  It's a great conditioning hike, short and steep but it requires a decent level of cardio, stamina and strength.

Please note that there is a $10 fee to ride the skyride down or an annual pass is $99.

PLEASE! No guests (have people join if they want to come – its simple!), no kids and no dogs – thanks!

Please bring the following: 

Hiking Boots
Traction devices (Microspikes or Hillsound recommended)
Poles if you use them
Headlamp and spare batteries 
Water-proof/ wind-resistant Jacket
Layered Clothing
First aid supplies
Change of clothing
Your happy self! (leave your grumpy self at home)

Please be aware that BC Outdoor Adventures is not a professional organization and although the organizers make every possible effort to ensure the safety of event participants, the volunteers leading events are not professional guides. We are simply taking advantage of the Meetup organization and using Meetup as a way of bringing like minded individuals together to share in an enjoyable outdoor experience.

Although we always make an effort to look out for one another to the best of our ability, each of us is nevertheless responsible for our own safety and well-being during every event.
