Well not so much in search of, more about returning to Billy Miner Pub for a frothy. This is a social bicycle ride to inhale some fresh river air.
Almost all road & asphalt multipaths, but there are a few gravel connectors.
DISTANCE: 32 kms
DURATION: 2 hrs or so. PACE: average speed: Remember, always inform someone if you need to leave, saves the group from forming a search party. Remember YOU are responsible for yourself.
Event Host may (almost a guarantee) make some changes to the route on day of ride
85% pavement; 15% gravel/dirt
Begin - 6:15pm
PLEASE read all the details on this posting so you understand the speed and intention of the ride and are not disappointed with the ride being too fast or too slow etc. We are a no drop group so no one gets dumped along the way for being too slow, but I will send you to a bus stop if the entire group has to constantly wait for you. It's important you get an understanding of what you are getting into. Oh, and resist the urge to post a not going... I really really really want to treat members of this group like adults. But if you insist on childish antics, well, sitting in the corner is an appropriate response.
RIDE TYPE: Medium ride; ups and downs but with an advanced form of momentum.
WHAT TO BRING: A bicycle would be nice. Cash to buy stuff, tools & tube/patch kit to fix stuff. Oh and a pump or CO2 is kinda necessary to inflate that new tube..
HELMETS AND LIGHTS are mandatory.
NO SHOWS: The organizer reserves the right to decline members if they show up to the meeting spot unannounced, with an unsafe bike or if they have any recent "no shows" PLEASE NOTE: We are a group composed of volunteers. We are not a professional organization. As such, each of us is responsible for our own safety and well-being during an organized event. The organizer is not in any way responsible for any participant on the trip. However, as a group of friends, we make an effort to look out for one another to the best of our ability.
