This is an extremely streneous, ~17 mile technical loop with lots of boulder hopping (slippery rocks), tricky downcliming, a handful of rappels and swimmers down Park Canyon, into Upper Salome Canyon, thru the famous narrows known as Grotto Pool, and exiting up via either a 6 mile regular trail (lots of elevation gain) or via a side canyon (more fun, but physically challenging).
We will either camp in the Grotto (no camp fires) or by Hell's Hole (campfires probably ok).
Miles: ~17 (+/-)
ACA Rating: 3BV
Elevation gain: ~3,000ft
Days planned in the Canyon: 1.5-2
