Monthly Club Meeting - Gear Repair

  • Nov 11, 2013 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Come join us at the monthly meeting!

This is a great opportunity to come meet the Club hike leaders and fellow members.  We'll enjoy the food and beverages at the Boulders on Broadway while we talk about past and upcoming hikes.

The meeting will be casual but informative.  We promise you'll feel welcome and enjoy the evening!  This is a great way to find out more about the Club or just to hang out with your hiking buddies and meet the Club's hike leaders.

After the meeting we'll have a show & tell presentation by Corwin on gear repair.  He'll cover some practical and easy repairs for common gear failures.

Hi, what gear you plan to explain for repair? I need to sew an islet on to a tent that was ripped off. I live up north and traveling to Tempe that time of day is crazy, but I will do if this is something you might be covering..., bonus - to meet all of you. Otherwise, meeting you at a hike might be a better option. Thx

I'd planned on going over emergency repair, i.e. getting through a disaster on the trail. However, if you want to bring the tent in question I'm sure to find time to help you with that as well.

I'll also be going over building an emergency repair kit to take with you on trips.
