Superstions Ridgeline Hiking & Camping

A group of us will meet Saturday at Lowe's (Higley Rd & US 60) and work out shuttles. We will need to leave vehicles at Carney Springs Trailhead Saturday for our shuttle back on Sunday. We'll start the hike up Siphon draw on Lost Dutchman side. We will then follow the ridge line and exit back at Carney springs. This is an all day hike that is among the toughest in the state.

Plan is to car camp at Lost Dutchman State Park Saturday night, then start our hike Sunday morning at 7am. If you don't want to camp, then you're welcome to meet at lost dutchman in the morning to start the hike.

Difficulty 5 Route Finding 3
Distance Hiking 11.5 miles
Trailhead Elevation 2,290 feet
Elevation Gain 2,820 feet
Accumulated Gain 4,480 feet
Avg Time Hiking 8 - 11 hours
Water 4-6 Liters Minimum

KNOW YOUR ABILITIES. If you are out of shape or want to get into shape then this hike isn't for you.

We will split cost for fees at Lost Dutchman State Park.

Please be willing to work out shuttling vehicles.

Cars will make it to trailheads.

What an amazing hike and way to experience the Supes. The meetup didn't go according to plan, but the way everyone handled it worked out great - which is awesome to be able to be part of - a group that can adapt on the fly and be open in communication, so that everyone can get the maximum adventure.
