What is pilates?

Pilates is an exercise system developed by Joseph Pilates which increases strength, flexibility, improves balance and coordination.

The exercises are safe and are performed with attention to the breath, using controlled movements.

The Class is held by Devorah Al-irimi:
After years attending Pilates classes, and personally seeing the benefits, Devorah Al-irimi become a certified STOTT PILATES® instructor, specializing in Mat work, and Pre and Post natal.
Since qualifying she has taught pilates to private groups and individual, working with all body types and levels.

She certified in both Traditional Thai massage, and Stretch Thai massage from Ongs School of Massage, a school recognized by the Ministry of Education, Thailand. She also studied Sports Nutrition at the University of Barcelona.

After the class we could all go to a bar called "Al sur cafe" just a jump away from the studio for a chat and a warm cup of coffee!

1. The class will not be held if 10 persons are not achieved.

2. For organizational reasons, those interested, you will have to pay in advance as a sign of confirmation and in case you do not show up there will not be any reimbursement. As the studio has already been rented out.

3. Deadline: MONDAY 21st. Money will be recollected at the language exchange in The Philharmonic Pub from 8.30pm to 11.30pm

4. We recommend you to wear comfortable clothes and slippers!

    1) to ring the bell marked "el up" -until YOU hear it - walk down the passageway and up the interior set of stairs;

    2) come a bit early (5-10 minutes so the class can be started on time) but no more than 15 minutes as it disrupts the previous class.

    3) The studio is fully equiped, there are mats and also a changing rooms!
