I'm sorry that I didn't send this message out sooner, I hope that most of you recieve it before this morning's meetup.
Both David and I will not be at the meetup at Sweet Eugene's this morning. We'll both be out of town. I hope that others will still be able to make it. For those who may be new to the group, there won't be a sign or anything. I'll try to have a sign to make us easy to find to anyone new from now on....I would suggest that anyone who is at Sweet Eugene's in the morning sit on the patio deck outside so that the group will be easier to recognize if it is small. I say this because we have had some new members join in the last couple of weeks who might be coming for their first time. So to all of you regulars, keep an eye open for anyone who might be looking for us.
I hope everyone who does make it has a good time and good conversation.
This is a social group for Bryan/ College Station area Atheists, Agnostics, as well as other non-believers and freethinkers. We are generally a diverse and friendly group of atheists, agnostics, and others, who support secular values based on reason, evidence, and critical thinking. Anyone is welcome to join us at any of our meetups, as long as they are not attending simply to preach or start trouble. We meet at Sweet Eugene’s House of Java on Sundays at 10:30 AM, usually on the deck out front if the weather permits, however, we’ve been sitting inside quite often during the hot days of the summer. We usually at least have a small paper table sign that you can look for.
We welcome and always look forward to meeting anyone new, whether you consider yourself non-religoius, you enjoy conversation with freethinking individuals, or if you are just curious about non-religious individual's viewpoints on the types of things we do believe. We always have interesting, as well as stimulating conversations, and generally a large portion of us usually go have lunch somewhere after the meetup at Sweet Eugene's.
