BCS South Wales is the local branch of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (, the professional body for IT professionals.

We organise events monthly from October to May each year, covering technical, business and professional development aspects of computing and related technologies. Most of these events are open to anyone who has an interest in the advertised topic, including both BCS members and non-members.

How often do you have events? We aim to hold at least one event per month from October to May, but often manage to include a few more.

Do I have to be a BCS member to come along? No, anyone with an interest in technology and the topic of the event is welcome to come along.

Are refreshments provided at events? Yes! Most of our events include tea and coffee, soft drinks, and a cold buffet.
