This group was started with the aim to create a geographical network based out of Toronto and the surrounding GTA to establish a centralized meet-up for those who understand the effects of living with bdd.  It was created by bdders and for bdders with the intention to band together and connect with others as a means to express, understand, educate, and share in each others experiences in the process of learning to live with bdd.

Diagnostic criteria for 300.7 Body Dysmorphic Disorder (obtained from http://www.bddcentral.com)
A. Preoccupation with an imagined defect in appearance. If a slight physical anomaly is present, the person's concern is markedly excessive.
B. The preoccupation causes clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning.
C. The preoccupation is not better accounted for by another mental disorder (e.g., dissatisfaction with body shape and size in Anorexia Nervosa).
