LA area events this summer through Genderqueer Revolution

July 18 Beach Day
July 26 Coffee Talk

Hope to see some of you there!
----------------------
Saturday, July 18, GenderQueer Revolution is hosting a Beach Day (one of several, before the summer ends). We will be meeting at Dockweiler Beach in the South Bay from 1-8 PM. A couple of GQR reps will reserve a fire pit around 11 or 12, by the end of the northern (last) parking lot. Join the fun anytime of the day or night as we laze around in the sun, play games, eat, talk with each other, and light a big fire at sundown. As with all GenderQueer Revolution events, all genders, bodies welcome. Come however you want to present, with whatever beach attire you feel comfortable wearing (or not wearing ;-)). You belong. You are welcome. You be YOU.

If you need a ride or can offer one, please email [address removed] for carpool coordination, or if you know others who are coming and can plan carpools, or you know folks who would have a great time, invite them! (And plan a carpool.)

We welcome contributions of:
Fire Wood
Beverages/Cups/Ice
Snacks (chips, cookies, fruit)
Marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers, if people want to make s'mores

GQR will provide hot dogs (soy, kosher, and chicken as well) and wire hangers for spearing them over the flames.

Bring blankets, umbrellas, sunscreen, towels, chairs, maybe a sweatshirt for the windy times. Please RSVP, and let us know if you can bring something. Dockweiler's info: http://beaches.co.la.ca.us/bandh/Beaches/Dockweiler.htm
