When: Sunday, April 11, 2010 6:30 PM

622 Degraw Street
Brooklyn, NY 11217

Dear Friends,

Are you loco for the locavore food movement? Psyched for seasonal sustenance? Happy for heirloom tomatoes? If your answer is yes, then join BKLYN Green Drinks as we support Farmers Market Sweep, Brooklyn's first food-themed game show.

Come see three rounds of delicious farm and food-political trivia as four teams of omnivorous contestants go head-to-head in the battle for the title of Champion Locavore!

Contestant lineup includes Aaron Zueck and Robert DuBois of Bikeloc, Louisa Shafia author of Lucid Food, Ava Chin of the New York Times, as well as folks from Just Food, Slow Food, Spoon and Trowel, People's Garden NYC and Flatbush Farm Share.

The game show will be followed by the savory sounds of Smoothe Moose Laboratories featuring Brooklyn based cellist and electronic musician Cosmo D who will be serving it up with beat master DJ Saucy Crotch.

Sunday, April 11th at Littlefield, 622 Degraw St, Brooklyn, NY

Doors at 6:30 pm
Game show at 7:00 pm
Music at 8:30 (ish)

Tickets are $12 in advance or if you bike to the event, $15 at the door. Advance tickets may be purchased here.

All proceeds will go to support Bikeloc, a project documenting the impact of the local food movement in America.

BKLYN Green Drinks looks forward to seeing you there!
