My dad's 486-era computer with its 2400 baud modem was pretty instrumental in me developing a knowledge of computers and the Internet well before they were commercialized.
I'm cofounder of Breakrs, which is a platform for music discovery and entertainment, driven by a game in which users play the role of talent scout, attempting to break the next up-and-coming bands. Players earn points as their picks become more popular and can compare their points with one another as objective proof of their music cred. In the process, everyone discovers great new artists and music.
I am a software engineering and music technology specialist, a former teacher, and most recently, an entrepreneur.
