What's up Black Professionals,
It's about that time of the year where the bathing suits and swim trunks get out of storage and readied to enjoy summer in ATL. So with the official 1st day of summer coming on June 21st let's get up and get out and experience the brand new Hurricane Harbor Water Park at Six Flags Over Georgia.
Hurricane Harbor, now open at Six Flags Over Georgia, features a 38,000 square foot wave pool, a multi-slide tower, and a “world’s first” single slide tower combining two extreme slide thrills. A tropical island theme will include new food locations, shopping, cabanas and expansive deck, lounge and shade amenities.
Hurricane Harbor encourages you to soak up the sun and cool off during the summer. The staple of the park is Calypso Bay, a 38,000-square-foot wave pool that simulates the feeling of ocean surf with a state-of-the-art wave system that produces waves up to four feet high. The park also features the world's first hybrid zero-gravity slide Tsunami Surge, a dual-slide complex that drops riders down an enclosed five-story drop, whirls them around a 40-foot-wide bowl, followed by a zero-gravity plunge out the bottom. Another multi-slide complex, Bonzai Pipelines, challenges bold adventurers to soar through winding curves, dark tunnels, and swirling bowls. Paradise Island is a children’s activity area of the water park, with an interactive water playground featuring miniature slides, drenching towers, and hundreds of interactive water elements.
So let's get up, get out, and enjoy Summer how it's supposed to enjoyed
