The purpose of this group is to expand the network of Hagerstown area scuba divers so that they can meet other local people who are active divers and those interested in becoming involved in the sport. Sponsored by Blue Marble Divers Dive Shop 120 East Oak Ridge Drive in the South Pointe Shopping Center, active divers can find a dive buddy for a dive excursion, exchange information about dive sites and typical area conditions, share tips on equipment and underwater photography, or find out more about advanced training opportunities. Non-divers who want to find out more about this educational and exciting activity as well as family members are always welcome. You can even post photos of your latest dive to share on this site.
Come and regale us with your stories of adventure and fun. Whether you are a diver or not, you will leave each meeting with dive tips, a better appreciation of the global environment, and most importantly, new friends that last a lifetime. See our about page for membership guidelines.

Want to attend?

The Dive shop will host an open house on Saturday December 19 beginning around noon. As in past years there will be lots of goodies and drinks on hand. Plan to stop by and say hello to past and future dive buddies.

This event is always a lot of fun and a great chance to see one another at the holidays. Thanks Dave and Mary for having this party for your friends.

      “Hi Shelly, I got my open water cert 06. I think Dave used a lot more Tylenol while trying to teach me ;-). My health took a nose dive for a couple years but I was able to dive the last dive of the season this year. Dave and Mary are the best and will not steer you wrong. Sometimes we do a New Years day dive up at the Storm, It depends on the weather. Lena”
