BOSTON LOCAL FOOD FESTIVAL
Local Food Festival Brings All Things Local and True to Downtown Boston
Join us for the 3rd annual Boston Local Food Festival, presented by Teddie Peanut Butter taking place on Sunday, October 7th from 11am-5pm on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, Wharf Area Parks, right in the heart of Downtown Boston (near the Aquarium MBTA Stop). This is a Zero Waste event with a free bike valet (near High Street)
Organized by the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts, a local non-profit organization with the mission to build economies that are local, green and fair, the Boston Local Food Festival is the premier local food event in Massachusetts bringing together over 120 local food vendors (restaurants, farmers, specialty food and beverage producers, non-profits and more) in support of "Healthy Local Food for All". The festival draws over 30,000 festival goers each year and features chef demos, meat cutting demos, a Seafood Throwdown competition, DIY booths, family fun zone, live local music, and something for everyone. The festival has been voted "Best of the New Events" by the Boston Globe and was recently ranked one of the top 5 events by BizBash Magazine.
