Brian and group, we also have the option to attend the Korman Open House
that same weekend. This is a co-operative with Tarheel Chapter as well.
Something for everyone. http://www.tarheelbmwcca.org/february.htm

Here is the flyer and email I received in reference to the
upcoming swap meet in NC. Please check the site calendar for more details as
well. Any questions please contact John, whose info is on the
This email is a follow-up to the BMW & Porsche swap meet
event notice that I sent to you in November. This third annual swap meet is a
jointly sponsored by the Sandlapper & Tarheel Chapters BMW CCA and
Carolinas Region PCA. The attached event flyer appeared as a full page in the
Carolinas Region PCA in December and January newsletters to their members.
Sandlapper chapter's newsletter editor, Michael Mitchell, just confirmed that
the event info/flyer will be in the January issue of "The Roadster". I have
just sent another copy of the flyer and event info to Footnotes editor, Bob
Blood and the Tarheel Chapter webmaster.
Scott Hanf promoted the event
by attaching a flyer to the Tarheel Chapter Queen City Area December monthly
meeting notice email. We really need to promote this event to other Tarheel
chapter members, so I am asking that you make announcements regarding the swap
meet during your January and February area meetings. Past swap meets have
included vendors selling slightly used R compound track tires, wheels and
other BMW parts at very good prices (example: four nearly new 235/40-17 Toyo
RA1 tires for $300). This is a great event to attend before the warm weather
driving season starts for 2009.
Thanks for your valuable assistance to
promote this event hosted at the Touring Car Inc. shop in Matthews, NC on
Saturday, February 21, 2009. Touring Car Inc. is always listed in the FRIENDS
OF THE TARHEEL CHAPTER section in FOOTNOTES.
