Labor Day Ride - 18 mile

Parks & Tunnels Make For A Beautiful Ride!

ROLL @ 8:45AM

CLASS C / C+ (Road bikes only)

Important: If no one RSVPs for this meet up, the 40 milers will not stop here.

Park in the Kohl's/Target Shopping Center near the intersection of 19th/Campus in Upland. Ride down Campus a few feet, make a left unto Colonies Parkway. Wait there for those riders coming from Chino. We will regroup here.

This is a nice 18-mile loop from Upland to Rancho Cucamonga, beginning with Colonies Pkwy, a neighborhood ride, and back up to 19th Street. We will ride along 19th St to the Victoria Park Loop, ride through a fun tunnel, Church St, and back up to Baseline to Campus.

We can stop by a frozen yogurt shop/starbucks at Campus/19th as we end this 18 mile loop, if desired.

Note: An improving D+ rider or a C rider that desires less inclines and mileage will enjoy this ride.

Bring a water bottle & make sure you wear sunscreen. We don't want any burnt BOBies. **Don't forget money for a snack.

Fausto, you and Juan and Leo did an awesome job today! Keeping up with the faster 40 milers was quite some work. So glad we were able to enjoy a nice chat over refreshments and meet your family too! Thanks for the great pics!

Fausto is the contact person for this part of the route. He will be parking near the Bed Bath and Beyond store. If you don't see him in the parking lot, go ahead and ride down Campus to the first left (I think) and turn left unto Colonies Pkwy and meet us on that corner. We should be arriving about 8:30am.

Ha ha Jennifer...that is so true! As long as you can keep the pace of a D+ to C class rider we will be thrilled to have you on your first BOBie ride. Its a very nice loop!

The Home depot glass is on 19th right when we start the ride

Fausto, we will be starting our ride on Colonies Pkwy and will pick up 19th Street east of Sapphire, so I don't think it will be a problem. This 18 mile loop will be coming back up Campus from Baseline, so still no 19th street in front of Home Depot...good for us!
